Seven days of riding and one day with nowhere to be

A chalet at the foot of the lifts: the board goes on at the door and comes off at the door.
Six of the eight days are on the mountain. The seventh is deliberately empty — by then everyone needs it.
A guide who knows where the snow stays good three days after it falls.
One table, one dinner, and nobody looking at the time.
Passes, transfers and dinners are somebody else's problem for eight days.
Transfer from the airport, the chalet, equipment check and a short dinner.
Getting the group onto the same page: long runs, a look at everyone's riding, the first off-piste lines.
Wherever the snow is best that morning, decided at breakfast and not before.

Captain, engineer, self-made property developer
He knows the water and he knows how to build — literally and in the business sense. He is responsible for safety and logistics across the whole week. Going to sea with him isn't frightening, and talking business with him isn't boring.

Off-piste we go in one group and nobody rides ahead of the guide. An avalanche transceiver, a shovel and a probe are on you every day we leave the groomed runs — rented locally if you do not own them. If the guide closes a slope, it is closed, and that is not a conversation.

Confident on a red run and able to ride it without stopping. Off-piste experience is welcome but not required.
Yes, and most people do. If you would rather not fly with it, there is a rental shop fifty metres from the chalet.
The resort is high enough that this has not happened in February yet. If it does, we move to a glacier and tell you before you fly.
